OVERVIEW
Daniel is a partner at Miller Morton Caillat & Nevis. An active member of the firm’s construction and real estate group, Daniel has a national litigation practice that touches on all areas of commercial disputes in both federal and state courts. He has extensive experience in construction law, having represented owners, developers and builders during all stages of construction projects, from preparation and review of contract documents tailored to fit the individual needs of his clients to guiding his clients through the process of prosecuting and defending claims to resolution by negotiation, litigation, and all forms of alternative dispute resolution. Daniel has worked with his clients to achieve success in federal and state cases involving a wide range of issues on both public and private works, including contract disputes, lien and bond claims, impact assessment and delay, and construction defects.
A native of Northern California, Daniel attended school at Bellarmine College Preparatory before completing his undergraduate studies with high honors at the University of California in Santa Barbara. In 2003, Daniel graduated from Hastings College of Law.
