OVERVIEW
Roger Liu practices in the firm’s litigation group, with an emphasis on the construction industry. In his construction practice, Roger represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors and design professionals, handling a broad spectrum of issues including contract review, bid protests and subcontractor bid issues, construction claims including scope of work changes, impact and delay assessment, mechanics’ liens, stop notice and bond claims, and defect cases. A former prosecutor, Roger has a significant trial background that he utilizes in his current practice.

Roger also enjoys longboard surfing, wrestling, fishing and raising two large German Shepherd dogs.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

Currently representing a subcontractor in extra work and delay claims arising out of two major public works projects.

Currently representing a general contractor in a construction defect claim arising out of a condominium complex.

Assisting a general contractor in the enforcement of mechanics’ liens and collection of damages from delays and inefficiencies.

Successfully resolved claims arising out of a public library project.
