REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

Currently serving as lead counsel for a national general contractor in a $50 million construction delay and payment claim in federal court against an owner arising from construction of a manufacturing plant.

Currently representing a large general contractor in a $100 million dollar claim for unpaid work, change orders, delay damages, preference and alleged false claims.

Defended prime contractor from an owner’s claim that a one million square foot roof on a major distribution center was defectively installed when in fact the roof was an improperly specified product.

Successfully resolved dozens of multi-million dollar claims on behalf of prime contractors against school districts due to delays and defective plans.

Assisted a large general contractor in negotiating a construction contract with a publicly traded REIT in connection with the construction of a retail shopping complex in San Jose, California.

Negotiated joint venture agreement between architect, engineer and prime contractor on a $250 million high-technology design-built project.
